Whole Foods Small Change Adds Up - April 9 – July 1, 2012
Get the word out; shop at Whole Foods, bring in your reusable bags, and donate your $.10 bag credits to Lopez! ALL members of the Fort Collins Community can participate and help us fund our wonderful programs. Lopez Elementary has been selected as Whole Foods' recipient for their Small Change Adds Up program for the third quarter (APRIL, MAY & JUNE). Every ten cent bag refund that gets donated by our guests will go directly to Lopez to fund our “All Eyes On Me” project. “All Eyes On Me” is a plan to upgrade our technology teaching lab with a SMART Board, proper seating (so the students aren’t craning their necks to see the projector), and working toward going completely paperless. This is a generous program and we are excited for the opportunity to improve the computer lab for our students! We sincerely thank Whole Foods for choosing Lopez!

Wednesday, May 30 at Troutman Park - Mr. Davis will be barbecuing hamburgers for our graduating 5th graders followed by a friendly game of baseball.

Thursday, May 31, 2012, 1:00 p.m. – Lopez Flex Room. DVD’s of the ceremony and Eco Week will be available from Star Painter Productions. Families are invited to a cookies and punch reception and Students will be dismissed for the year following the ceremony.
Last Day of School (1/2 Day)
Friday, June 1, 2012
School will be dismissed at 11:30 a.m. Morning kindergarten will not attend on June 1st. Their last day is May 31. Breakfast and lunch will NOT be served the last day of school.

This summer Lopez will be one of six Poudre Schools hosting the LINC library program. Please come out to support literacy.
