Academic Achievement
Lopez Elementary is proud of our reading CSAP results! 93% of our third graders scored proficient or advanced while the district boasted 83% proficient. We attribute this to great teachers, a solid PSD curriculum, and a desire to help all students reach their potential.
Lopez Elementary either meets or exceeds all academic performance areas! Our students met their state and district goals in reading, writing, and science. However, we exceeded state and district performance in math, which is no surprise...about a third of our kids take advanced math work in 4th and 5th grade, allowing them to skip 6th grade math at Webber Middle School. In addition, 90% of our kids made a year's growth or more according to CSAP data. We are proud of Lopez students, parents, and teachers for these amazing scores!
